About Us
History
The Global eLearning Community (GEC) was created in 2004 as a way to discover and share research related to the cultural influences on learning, teaching, and training, especially because elearning was becoming the preferred method for training culturally diverse offshore and global workforces.
Activities
To accomplish our goals, we offer a range of services and activities to members and non-members (the Associates' Mailing List) such as networking, research, educational events, projects, job posting, and information sharing.
President
Dr. Andrea Edmundson, the Global Learning Strategist for eWorld Learning, is the founder and President of the GEC.
